Maxine Ferguson (nee Crowe) was born on 3 April 1926 in Ajmer in India, and spent most of her early life in Bombay (now Mumbai). She married Arthur in 1948, and their four children were all born in Bombay. The family moved to England in 1965, and they moved to Hounslow in 1970, where Maxine has lived ever since. Arthur passed away in 1988, but she continued to live in the same house in Hounslow that they had bought together. Her family was important to her, and remained close to her until her sad passing on 11 September 2022. She leaves behind 4 children, 9 grandchildren, and 5 greatgrandchildren. Her faith was also important to her, attending SS Michael and Martin Church in Hounslow for over 50 years. She was a long standing supporter of CAFOD, and asked for donations to CAFOD instead of flowers. Known as Blossom by Arthur, her family and many cousins, she will live on in our memories for Aunty Blossom's recipes for Christmas cake, brinjal pickle and fudge.
